Once you have connected eToro, you can buy US stocks and ETFs right in the chat.
Buy by USD amount
Instead of entering a share count, on eToro you buy by USD amount — eToro works out the number of shares, including fractional shares. For example, buying 50 USD of a 300 USD stock gets you about 0.16 shares. This is like buying by quoteOrderQty on Binance.
Selling = closing a position
Each buy creates its own position. When you sell, fastbot closes your existing long position (it does not open a new short). If you sell part by amount, fastbot closes exactly that part.
Trading hours
- Regular session: 09:30–16:00 New York time (Monday–Friday).
- fastbot only allows orders during the regular session; outside those hours it pauses to avoid dangling orders.
