Automated DCA take-profit

Set a target profit % so fastbot sells automatically when your DCA plan hits the threshold, then continues a fresh cycle.

Automated take-profit helps you realize gains without watching the price board.

How it works

  • Each DCA plan can set a take-profit % (relative to that plan own average cost).
  • fastbot checks periodically. When profit hits the threshold, it sells exactly what the plan holds at market price.
  • After taking profit, the plan resets and keeps buying on the next cycle — you do not recreate it.

Differences between exchanges

  • Binance / DNSE: calculated on the exact quantity the plan has accumulated. If your wallet holds less than the plan tracks (for example, you withdrew some), fastbot sells what is actually there and clearly notes the discrepancy.
  • eToro: only closes positions created by the DCA plan — it never touches shares you bought manually. So the take-profit % is measured on the DCA portion only.

When to use it

Automated take-profit suits a clear goal (for example, "take profit at +30%"). If you invest very long term and do not want to sell, simply leave the take-profit % blank — fastbot will only accumulate.
