DNSE orders & DCA (board/odd lots, trading calendar)
How to place MP/LO orders, board-lot and odd-lot rules, HOSE trading hours, and creating a Vietnam-stock DCA plan.
Once you have connected DNSE, you can trade Vietnam stocks right in the chat.
Order types
- MP (Market) — only during the continuous matching session.
- LO (Limit) — you enter a price; fastbot rounds it to the HOSE tick size.
Board lots and odd lots
Vietnam stocks trade in lots of 100. When your quantity is not a whole lot, fastbot automatically splits the board-lot part and the odd-lot part into appropriate orders — you only enter the total shares (or VND amount) you want to buy.
Trading hours
- Morning: 09:00 ATO session → 09:15–11:30 continuous matching.
- Afternoon: 13:00–14:30 continuous → 14:30 ATC session.
- No trading on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Orders placed outside the right session are rejected by the exchange — that is an exchange rule, not a bot error.
DCA for Vietnam stocks
Go to 🏦 DCA → create a plan, choose the DNSE exchange, and enter the ticker and VND amount per cycle. For odd lots, a limit order may wait until end of session to fill; fastbot tracks this and only adds to the plan when the order actually fills, so your figures stay accurate.
