DNSE orders and DCA

Vietnamese stocks come with rules crypto does not have. Fastbot handles the awkward part — lot splitting — for you, but it helps to understand it so the confirm screen makes sense.

Two order types

Board lots and odd lots — Fastbot splits them

Vietnamese exchanges only accept market orders in multiples of 100 shares. Buying 150 shares would normally mean placing two orders yourself. Fastbot does it for you and spells out each part before you agree:

The odd lot goes in as an LO at the last traded price, so it may not fill as quickly as the board lot.

Choose 💵 VND amount and type 5000000 — Fastbot takes the current price and works out how many shares that buys. Choose 🔢 Shares to enter the count directly.

Trading hours

Orders only go through during continuous matching:

Session	Hours
Morning	9:15 – 11:30
Afternoon	13:00 – 14:30

Outside those hours Fastbot names the current session and sends nothing — for example "Outside continuous matching (Lunch break)". There is no trading on weekends or public holidays.

Selling waits for T+2

Shares you just bought only settle after two business days. Fastbot counts only what is sellable now, so it will not place a sell the exchange would reject. If you ask to sell more than has settled, it shows you what you hold and what is sellable.

DCA on DNSE

Create a plan just like on any other exchange; the only difference is that amounts are in VND. See Create a DCA plan.

One important difference: on DNSE, Fastbot only records what actually filled. When the order goes out you get a "buy order sent" message, then a second message with the real quantity and price once the exchange answers:

That way your plan always matches the real order book at DNSE, even when an odd lot fails to fill and the exchange cancels it at end of day.

Re-pricing a pending order

🇻🇳 DNSE → 📋 Pending, tap an order, then ✏️ Edit price. Only LO orders can be re-priced (an MP order has no price) and only during continuous matching. Fastbot cancels the old order and places a new one at your price, rounding it to the HOSE tick.
